Although IMS is from the point of view of standardisation still a dream of the future for UMTS, several vendors decided to introduce commercialised systems into the market. This anticipates an essential step forward in the development of applications for mobile networks. Push-to-talk, buddy lists, multi-media messages and interworking with internet message services can already be offered as mobile today, based on IMS.
Inform yourself about the possibilities, which a standardised network for application offers to mobile network operators. The course provides a practical and a day-to-day business-related overview of applications, hardware and processes within an IP multimedia sub system. Unlike conventional trainings this course does not just cover standards, but covers also networks which can be used by mobile network operating companies already today.

• Basic knowledge of mobile networks and data networks are a prerequisite for this course.
