Layer 3 principles and features based on IP are the backbone of modern data networks.
In this training we cover the basic principles of L3 Routing and the most important routing protocols like OSFP and BGP. Particular emphasis will be put on the topic Multicast. Also the main alterations with IPv6 will be presented.
This training will be supplemented with exercises. We build a live network to get a deeper insight into the mechanisms being used. Tools like Wireshark help us to get a better understanding of IP and the other protocols.
